Mary Driscoll graduated with a BA in history from LeMoyne College, with a concentration in research and writing. She has been working in the entertainment business for many years. After spending many years booking talent for commercial, video, and print, Mary launched out into film, including directing and casting for various SAG films, as well as red carpet hosting and interviews. Mary spent over 15 years analyzing Hollywood movie scripts and writing movie reviews, with a focus on entertainment for children and families for www.movieguide.com. She has ghost written many screenplays. In addition, Mary served as a reader and judge for the Kairos Prize for Uplifting and Inspiring Screenplays for over 15 years. Mary has also written many of her own screenplays, winning awards from film festivals such as Hard Faith, Content Christian, Austin Revolution, New York International Film Festival, and Canadian International Christian Film Festival. She has been published in several places over the years, including Movieguide(R), CMM Magazine, and—most recently—as a contributing author in Ted Baehr’s “Reel to Real: 45 Movie Devotions for Families.” She has taken various filmmaking courses including “How to Succeed in Hollywood (Without Losing Your Soul) taught by Ted Baehr, Th. D, HHD, JD. She has also spoken and taught at international and national conferences and seminars, most recently teaching screenwriting at Realm Makers Writers Conference in St. Louis, MO. In addition to her work in film, Mary is the PBA Promotions Booking Director and Account Manager for the Northeastern United States, staffing for companies such as Coca Cola and BMW.
